The extended period application fees for GATE 2026 vary based on the candidate's category. Candidates opting for two papers will have to pay twice the mentioned fees. The GATE 2026 examination is scheduled to take place on February 7 to 8 and February 14 to 15, 2026.
To complete GATE 2026 registration process, candidates need to upload certain documents, including a good-quality image of their photograph and signature, a valid photo ID, and category certificates (if applicable). Additionally, candidates belonging to the PwD category need to upload their UDID or PwD certificate, and those requiring compensatory time and scribe need to upload the relevant certificate.
Candidates applying for GATE 2026 are required to upload their photograph and signature files online, adhering to specifications. The same photograph uploaded during the application process will be printed on the GATE 2026 Admit Card and Score Card. Candidates are advised to ensure that all the uploaded documents are readable and clear to avoid any delays in processing their applications.
