GATE Response Sheet Date 2023: Know when candidate answer sheet is released

GATE 2023 Response Sheet: Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur will release the official GATE response sheet 2023 on February 15. GATE 2023 was conducted on February 4, 5, 11 and 12. The response sheet of GATE 2023 is the candidates' answer sheet, which will only have the answers marked by the candidates. The response sheet will not have the correct answers, and the candidates will need to wait for the official answer key to corrsscheck the correct answers. The response sheet of GATE 2023 can help candidates calculate their estimated scores.

How to calculate the score using the response sheet?

To calculate thte score using the response sheet, candidates must know the marking scheme. By referring to the official marking scheme, candidates can match up their correct answers with their responses and predict their scores.

Questions	Marks Obtained for Correct Answer	Negative Marking for Incorrect Answer
For MCQ	1 mark	-1/3 mark
For MCQ	2 mark	-2/3 mark
For MSQ & NAT	1 or 2 marks	No negative marking

To calculate MCQ marks-

• Total marks (for 1 mark) = 1 * number of correct answers - 1/3 * number of wrong answers
• Total marks (for 2 marks) = 2 * number of correct answers - 2/3 * number of wrong answers

To calculate MSQ & NAT marks-

• Add the total marks of correct answers and no subtraction for the wrong answers.
