
JEE Main 2025 Image Specification Notice:
As per the official public notice issued by the NTA on January 16, 2025, few candidates who have incorrectly uploaded their images will get a chance to upload their images as per appropriate specifications and guidelines. JEE Main 2025 Session 1 candidates have to upload images as per correct specifications from January 16 till January 17 up till 11:50 PM. Candidates who are supposed to correctly upload their images are already intimated by the NTA via email or SMS. These candidates will need to login at
jeemain.nta.ac.in
using their credentials and click on the link to upload a correct image.
The JEE Main 2025 session 1 exam is scheduled to be held from January 22 to January 30, 2025. For B.E/ B.Tech admissions specifically, Paper 1 is scheduled on January 22, 23, 24, 28 and 29. The Paper 2A (B.Arch) and Paper 2B (B.Planning) for JEE Main will be conducted on January 30, 2025. The exam will be administered in two shifts: first shift is 9 AM – 12 PM, second shift is 3 PM – 6 PM.

How to Correct Uploaded Photo for JEE Main January 2025?
Here are the guidelines and specifications about how to correctly upload the image for JEE Main 2025 Session 1 exam:- The Passport size Photograph should be between 10 kb to 300 kb.
- A recent photograph in colour must be 80% face (without mask) visible ears and white background.
- Write ‘Photograph’ in the photograph’s name, and in JPG/JPEG format (clearly legible). Only if used regularly, spectacles are allowed.
- No Polaroid nor Computer generated photos are allowed.
- Applications not compliant with these instructions or where the photographs are unclear, risk being rejected.
- Applications without photographs according to specifications as stated above will be rejected.
- No attestations are required for the photographs.
- Candidates are advised that they should keep 6 to 8 passport size colour photograph in white background.
- Candidates may note that if the photos that the application carries are deemed fabricated i.e. de-shaped or seem to be hand made or computer made, then the application of such candidates will be rejected and the same will be treated as use of unfair means and dealt with accordingly.
- Candidates are also advised to regularly check the NTA website for any new updates with regards to uploading of the documents.
