
India- Korea ICT Workshop was organised by Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi (IIIT Delhi) in association with the Embassy of the Republic of Korea and NIPA (National IT Industry Promotion Agency).
Date for the workshop: August 12 th and 13 th
Aim of the workshop: To increase collaboration between India and Korea.
Duration of the event: 2 Days
The workshop was attended by more than 10 companies from Korea and many companies from India so that they can interact and look for partnership ventures.
For students, this was a great opportunity to interact with superiors from both the companies and find jobs and internships in top companies in both India and Korea and acquire good industrial skills.
Mr. Hyun Cho - Ambassador of the Republic of Korea, along with Mr. Rajat Tandon ,Vice President, NASSCOM and Mr. Rajiv Jain , Vice President, IESA were some of the key speakers of the event. Also, Prof Jagadesh Kumar , Vice Chancellor JNU, Dr Debashis Dutta, Sc. “G” Group coordinator, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology , Deity and Mr. Pankaj Jalote , Director, IIIT - Delhi were on the panel of speakers at the workshop.
According to Director, IIIT - Delhi, Mr. Pankaj Jalote, it was a great pleasure hosting the event and they also look forward to hosting more of such workshops in the future.
