
The Women Leadership Summit, which is a flagship event of the Women in Management (WIM) club at Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore will be hosted on Saturday, 9 January, at 9:30 am onward. The location of this annual event will be at the IIM-B auditorium, and also the central pergola in the Bannerghatta campus.
With a theme - ‘Take the Leap’, the summit is about the challenges that are faced by women in the industry and how women leaders can be encouraged by different stakeholders. Rama Bijapurkar, a member of Board of Governors at IIM Ahmedabad, and Sanjaya Sharma, who is the founder and CEO of Tata ClassEdge and Tata Interactive Systems will deliver the keynote address.
A panel discussion titled 'Ascent to the Pinnacle' will feature the founder and CEO of Active Holiday Company Gauri Jayaram; Rama NS, former vice president, Infosys ,and Gita Sen, gender and development expert at IIM-B.
There will also be Subha Chandrasekaran, senior vice president -TTS ops Head at Citibank India, conducting a workshop on financial planning. The seats for this workshop will be available on unreserved basis.
