JKBOSE Kashmir Division Exams 2025; 2.45 Lakh students set to appear for exams in November

JKBOSE will start exams for Classes 10, 11, and 12 in the Kashmir Division from November 2025 onwards and shall conclude the same in December. Around 2.45 lakh students are going to appear for these exams.

JKBOSE Kashmir Division Exams 2025: The Board of School Education, Jammu and Kashmir (JKBOSE) will be conducting annual regular exams for Classes 10th, 11th, and 12. More than 2.47 lakh students are appearing for exams this year. The exams will be the last activity of the academic session for students in the Kashmir Division and winter zone areas of Jammu, including Kargil.

As per the official data, approximately 95,000 students will appear for Class 10th exams, 81,000 candidates are registered for Class 11, and about 71,000 to appear in Class 12. The Board has already declared the date sheet for Class 10, while the date sheets of Classes 11 and 12 were announced on October 8.

According to the JKBOSE notification, the Class 12 examination has been scheduled from November 8, while for Class 11 students it will start from November 19. Both exams are supposed to end by the second week of December 2025. The Class 10 exams are also scheduled to be conducted in the first week of November. All exams will be held in a single shift from 11 AM to 2 PM.

The Board has already announced a 15% relaxation in the syllabus for Classes 10, 11 and 12 this year. This decision was taken due to the extended warm summer weather and flooding, which have led to several school closures and disruption in the academic session.

To enable smooth conduct of the exams, the Board has started preparations, including setting up exam centers in every district, arranging a proper security system, besides deputing supervisory staff. Schools have also been asked to support students with their preparation and address any syllabus-related doubts.
