The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad (JNTU-H) is all set to launch a new research and development initiative for wider innovation on campus known as ‘J-Hub’.

Launching this academic year, the initiative intends to create a better environment for graduating engineers across colleges inspiring them towards tech product development, knowledge-based innovation, and entrepreneurship.

The institute has formed an industry advisory council comprising members from start-ups, product initiative leaders, industry and R&D centers. On Thursday, the council suggested the ‘hub-and-spoke’ model with innovation cells established in its partner colleges working closely with a central R&D and innovation cell i.e. JNTUH hub on the University campus.
