
JoSAA Counselling 2025 : The Joint Seat Allocation Authority will begin the registration process for JoSAA counselling 2025 on June 3 at 5 PM . Along with the registration, candidates also need to fill in their college preferences for academic programs and pay the JoSAA seat acceptance fee in advance by June 8, 2025, 8 PM. Candidates must check out the eligibility before registering for the counselling process. Based on the choices filled by the candidates between June 8, 2025, the mock seat allocation round one will be displayed on June 9, 2025, at 2 PM. Candidates will then have to lock their choices by June 10, 2025, 5 PM. Based on this, the Round 2 seat allocation will be out on June 11, 2025, at 12:30 PM.

This year, a total of 127 institutes are participating in JoSAA counselling, which includes 31 NITs, IIEST Shibpur, 26 IIITs, 47 other government-funded technical institutes, and 23 GFTIs. Candidates must note that seat allotment will be based on their ranks in JEE Main or JEE Advanced and the choices they fill during registration. During registration, candidates need to enter their details, educational details, and upload required documents for verification, along with paying the registration fee.
The authorities will review applications and accept candidates whose eligibility matches their requirements, rejecting those who don't meet the criteria. Shortlisted candidates will proceed to further rounds.
To register for JoSAA counseling, candidates need to create an account at josaa.nic.in using their application number, date of birth, name, and mother's name. An OTP will be generated and sent to their registered email ID and phone number. Candidates need to enter the OTP on the website to successfully create their portal. Thereafter, they need to log in using the generated details to access the form.
