The QS World University Ranking is an annual global ranking system that evaluates universities based on key performance indicators such as academic reputation, employer reputation, faculty-to-student ratio, research impact, and international diversity. It helps students and institutions compare universities worldwide and understand their overall standing in higher education.

This year, Lund University has claimed the title of the most sustainable university globally, achieving strong performances across all three evaluation metrics: environmental impact, social impact, and governance. Close behind are the University of Toronto in second place and UCL in third.
