
List of Important Documents Required on JEE Main Exam Day January 2025:
JEE Main 2025 aspirants are urged to bring along their
Aadhar card/ Passport/ Voter ID Card
along with their
JEE Main Admit Card 2025
during the exam day. Without these documents, candidates will not be allowed entry into the exam hall. There is no need for candidates to bring along their JEE Main 2025 city intimation slip during the exam day.
JEE Main 2025 Session 1 will begin from January 22 and will conclude on January 30. JEE Main 2025 Paper 1 will take place on January 22, 23, 24, 28, and 29 and Paper 2 will be conducted on January 30. Both the papers (1 and 2) will be done in two shifts: Morning shift (9 AM to 12 PM) and Afternoon Shift (3 PM to 6 PM).
Candidates are urged to report at 7 AM for the morning shift and at 1 PM for the afternoon shift
. The duration of the exam is three hours for both Paper 1 and 2, however, if candidates attempt both, Paper 2A (B.Arch) and 2B (B.Planning) from Paper 2 then they will be provided three hours and thirty minutes of total time for the completion of the question paper.

JEE Main 2025 exam will be held in a computer based mode consisting of 75 questions for Paper 1 and three hours of duration. Each of the correct answers is worth 4 marks, but every wrong answer will attract negative 1 mark. The question paper will be available in 13 languages for the benefit of the candidates in India. Paper 2A will have 77 questions and Papaer 2B will have 100 questions, and both papers will be of 400 marks each.
