Major Changes Introduced in ICSI CSSET 2025
Candidates can find the highlights of the major changes introduced in ICSI CSSET 2025 below:-
- New Curriculum : The syllabus has been updated to align with emerging corporate, technological, and regulatory developments.
- Enhanced Assessment : The new framework focuses on conceptual understanding, analytical abilities, communication skills, and professional aptitude.
- Updated Study Material : New study materials and learning resources will be provided.
- Improved Exam Experience : The examination experience has been improved.
- Strengthened Foundational Competencies : The changes aim to better prepare students for the CS Executive and CS Professional Programme stages.
Key Structural and Procedural Changes:
- The first session of the restructured CSEET will be in June 2026. The last session of the existing remote proctored CSEET will be in January 2026.

The exam is now a mix of subjective and OMR-based papers, conducted over four days at designated centers.
- Day 1: Business Communication (Subjective, 100 marks, 3 hours)
- Day 2: Fundamentals of Accounting (Subjective, 100 marks, 3 hours)
- Day 3: Economic and Business Environment (Subjective, 100 marks, 3 hours)
- Day 4: Business Laws and Management (OMR Based, 100 marks, 2 hours)
- The exam will be held at designated examination centers from 2:30 PM to 5:45 PM, with an additional 15 minutes of reading time for each paper.
- There will be no negative marking for the OMR-based paper (Business Laws and Management).

Validity:
- CSEET Registration will be valid for three years.
- The CSEET Result will be valid for one year.
- A candidate must secure a minimum of 40% marks in each paper and 50% marks in the aggregate of all papers in a single sitting. There is no provision for exemption or carrying forward of marks.
ICSI has revamped the CSEET 2026 with an updated curriculum, study materials, and assessment methods to align with current corporate and regulatory trends. Starting June 2026, the exam will feature both subjective and OMR-based papers over four days. Candidates must score at least 40% in each paper and 50% overall to pass.
