- Candidates seeking admission in Tamil Nadu medical colleges will be required to produce a document to prove the relationship with parents. All the documents have to be submitted at the time of counseling.

Students planning to take admission to MBBS/BDS programmes in Tamil Nadu will be required to submit their parents’ documents such as degree certificate, birth certificates, nativity certificate, Class 10th and 12th certificates, Aadhaar and income certificate during the time of counseling.
Apart from this, candidates will also be required to submit a document stating the relationship between the parent and the candidates at the time of admission.

The notification regarding the same has been put up by the selection committee on the official website. Dr. G Selvarajan, Secretary of the Committee said that the students attending counselling process for admission to Tamil Nadu government and self-financing institutions must submit original documents on the day of counseling.
Students attending the counseling have been instructed to bring the following documents with themselves:
- NEET Admit Card
- Class 10th and 12th Marksheets
- Transfer Certificates
- Bonafide Certificate for having studied at more than one schools in Tamilnadu between class 6th and 12th
- Aadhaar
- Community Certificate
- Ration Card/Passport
- Proof of Relationship between the parent and the candidate

According to the Secretary, the parent’s documents will be only required if the student has not studied in Tamil Nadu from Class 6th to 12th. In such cases, students will have to submit the proof that they are natives. They also want candidates to submit parents’ records.
