
The University of Mumbai extended the deadline for admissions to the Institute of Distance and Open Learning (IDOL). Interested students can now enrol for courses offered in distance education till September 30 with late fees. However, there are no vacant seats in BSc-IT and MCA courses.
This extension is for BA, BCom, and B Sc (Computer Science, Nautical Technology), MA, MA (Education), M.Com, MA/MSc (Maths) M Sc (IT, Computer Science), PGDFM and PGDORM.
Last year, around 80,000 students had taken admission in IDOL and this year around 74,000 candidates have already enrolled for the various courses. Currently, 39,000 students have enrolled for under graduate courses and 35,000 students are enrolled for post graduate courses.
