Dr. Nazeer Ahmed, Director, ICAR-Central Institute of Temperate Horticulture, Srinagar, has been appointed as Vice Chancellor of SKUAST, Kashmir.
N. N. Vohra, Governor of J&K, Chancellor of Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (SKUAST), Kashmir, has appointed Dr. Nazeer Ahmed as Vice Chancellor of the university for a period of five years or until he attains the age of 65 years, whichever is earlier- from the date he takes over charge.
Dr Ahmed, a well-known reputed Horticulturist, has earlier served in the SKUAST-K for about 22 years and has been serving as Director, ICAR-Central Institute of Temperate Horticulture, Srinagar for the past nearly 8 years. He has been instrument for bringing lots development works in the present institute.
