NIFT Admission 2025 Expected Start Date: NIFT Admission 2025 is set to commence in 10 days, following the declaration of final results on June 22, 2025. This means the admission process is expected to start by the first week of July, with the detailed counselling schedule and guidelines to be published soon on the official NIFT website, i.e. nift.ac.in. For NIFT 2025, the National Testing Agency (NTA) reported that 33,877 candidates registered for the entrance exam, and 31,061 actually appeared, resulting in an impressive attendance rate of 91.69%. Specifically, for Stage 1, 17,974 unique candidates registered. The Stage 2 examination, including the Situation Test and Personal Interview, was conducted on June 8, 2025.

The final result was based on a composite score: 50% weightage to the Creative Ability Test (CAT), 30% to the General Ability Test (GAT), and 20% to the Situation Test for B.Des aspirants. Total seats available for B.Des course were 38 each across various courses under Bachelor of Design program in 2024.
