Institute of Engineering & Technology, Alwar is the First self-financed college of Rajasthan. The college was established in the 1998 at Alwar and has been managed by All India Society for Advanced Education & Research.
The institute got affiliation from the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur on August 4 , 1998. Over the years the institute has grown up and become a Group of Academic Institutions.
On 1st Augsut 2016 IET, Alwar organized its 19th Orientation Programme “ABHINANDAN SAMAROH – 2016 for its newly admitted B.Tech and MBA students.
Students along with their parents / guardians and teachers and staff attended the programme. Dr. V. K. Agarwal (Chairman), Dr. Manju Agarwal (Executive Director), Er. Deep Kamal Agarwal (Director), Dr. Ritu Agarwal (Coordinator - CDC) welcome all the new admitted students. The students presented their colourful culturla programme.
B.Tech 1st Semester students participated in plantation activity as well.
