Selection Process & Counselling Procedure after PU CET(B.Tech)

We present to you th CET Selection & counselling procedure, the required documents and the tentative dates for your convenience. Read on!
Selection Procedure: -

• You will be selected on the basis of scores in JEE Main and class XII in ratio of 60:40. This process is known as normalization.
• You must satisfy the eligibility criteria before applying for PTU B.Tech Counselling and admissions.
• You will be evaluated on the basis of normalized score. An inters-se merit list will be considered while calling you for counselling.

Counselling Process:-

• You are advised not to disclose their login password to anyone.
• You are advised to check the updated Counselling schedule on university website
• No Separate Interview / Counselling letter will be issued.
• No Waiting list shall be prepared
• You must be download their Interview/Counselling letter, as no separate letter will be issued via post or email.

The procedure for counselling for PU CET(B.Tech) are as follows:

• Online Registration, Payment of Registration fees and Document Verification.
• Reporting (physically) for verification of documents.
• Filling up of choices (online)
• Mock Counselling
• Locking of choices and printing it
• Allotment of seat
• Counselling for Round 1
• Counselling for Round 2
• Counselling for Round 3
• Reporting at the institute after Round 3
• Spot Round of counselling
• Withdrawal of allotted seats and refund of fees.
• Reporting (physically) for verification of documents for Round 3
• Refund of fees.

Documents Required:-
You are required to bring in the following documents for verification:

• Original JEE Main 2015 Result Card
• Reservation Certificate (if required)
• EWS Certificate/Affidavit
• Medical Certificate (if required)
• Certificate for sub-category (if required)
• Gradation Certificate
• One girl child/Kashmiri Migrant/Displaced, Cancer/AIDS/Thalassemia/Kargil Martyr certificate
