Madras University examinations have been postponed as well.
Educational institutions in Krishnagiri and Villupuram districts are closed on 2 December 2024, and hence they are also expected to be closed on 3 December 2024 if there is no improvement in the weather conditions.
The rain situations are likely to improve in all districts on 3 December 2024, and therefore less number of schools might remain closed.
Schools in Thirukkanur, Bahour, and Marakkanam districts might also be closed due to high rainfall in the past few days.
