TG CPGET Hall Ticket 2025: Reservation for Women

At least one-third (33.33%) of the seats in each course should be given to female students from every category like Open, SC, ST, and BC. This is done for each subject in each college. But this rule doesn’t apply if:

• The number of girls who get selected based on merit is already one-third or more in that category, or
• The seats are for special quota categories.
• If there aren’t enough girls to fill these seats, then boys from the same category can take those seats instead.

TG CPGET Hall Ticket 2025: Reservation Rules

Here are the reservation rules for admissions through TG CPGET 2025 exam:

• 85% of the seats in any course are saved for students from the local area in Telangana. These seats also follow special rules for different communities.
• The remaining 15% of seats can be taken by anyone, no matter where they come from.
• From all the seats available, certain amounts are saved for these groups:
  • Scheduled Castes get 15% of the seats.
  • Scheduled Tribes get 10% of the seats.
  • Backward Classes are divided into groups, with percentages like 7%, 10%, 1%, 7%, and 4% reserved (these groups are labeled A, B, C, D, and E, respectively).
• There will also be some reserved seats for students from economically weaker families as per the Telangana government rules.

Eligible candidates will get admission to different courses through web based counselling. Qualified candidates who want admission need to upload their latest certificates for checking. Eligible candidates must choose their options online through web based options. Based on their choices, provisional admission will be given through web based counselling. Those who get provisional admission must pay the required fee online. Then, they should download the admit card and take it to the given centers. Candidates must also bring original certificates and two sets of photocopies for verification.

TG CPGET Hall Ticket 2025: Minimum cutoff marks

The minimum passing score in the TG CPGET entrance test for OC (Open Category), EWS (Economically Weaker Section), and BC (Backward Class) candidates is 25%. This means they must score at least 25 marks out of 100 to be allowed to apply for any course. But for SC (Scheduled Caste) and ST (Scheduled Tribe) candidates, there is no minimum score required to be eligible for admission. In other words, SC/ST candidates can apply regardless of their score in the entrance test.

Exam day instructions mentioned on the TG CPGET Hall Ticket 2025 are as follows:

• Carry the printed hall ticket (admit card) with a latest passport-size photograph pasted and self-attested on it. A digital copy of the hall ticket is not accepted at the exam centre.

• Bring a valid photo ID proof along with the hall ticket for verification.

• Reach the exam centre at least 90 minutes before the examination begins.

• Do not carry any banned items like mobile phones or calculators inside the exam hall.

• Follow the prescribed dress code.
