The Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE), has announced the complete schedule for TNEA Admissions 2025 on May 7, 2025. Along with the schedule, the DoTE has also commenced the registration process on the official website. TNEA 2025 registration will remain open until
June 6
, and the registered candidates can upload their documents until June 9. The TNEA 2025 random numbers will be issued on June 11. The TNEA 2025 Certificates Verification at TFC’s (Online) will be done from June 10 to 20. The TNEA 2025 rank list will be out on
June 27.
10+2 passed/appearing candidates can apply for TNEA counselling. Admission will be based on marks obtained by the candidates in the relevant subjects, namely, Maths, Physics and Chemistry, which will be reduced to 200 (Maths – 100, Physics – 50 and Chemistry – 50). TNEA 2025 serves as the centralised counselling process for engineering admissions in Tamil Nadu, eliminating the need for a separate entrance examination.

While registering, aspirants are required to pay an application fee of INR 500 for general category and INR 250 for reserved category. After successful registration and document verification, candidates will be assigned a random number, which is used to resolve tie-breaker situations. Subsequently, a merit list will be published, followed by the counselling process where candidates can select their preferred colleges and courses based on their ranks.
