UCEED 2026 eligibility includes age limit, number of attempts, and qualifying exam requirements. Students from all streams can apply to get admitted to B.Des programmes across India if they meet these criteria, before the deadline.

UCEED 2026 Entrance Exam:
UCEED 2026 (Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design) is organized for admission in B.Des programs at IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, IIT Delhi, IIITDM Jabalpur, and IIT Hyderabad. To be eligible, candidates must meet certain criteria related to age, number of attempts, and qualifying examination. General candidates should be born on or after October 1, 2001, while SC/ST/PWD candidates get 5 5-year relaxation. Each candidate can try the exam twice in consecutive times, and the score is only valid for the year of exam. Students who have passed or are appearing for their class 12 (or equivalent) examinations in 2025 or 2026 are eligible regardless of their stream, Science, Commerce, or Arts. Many boards and examinations are recognized, including national and international counterparts, but the candidates who have already won BDES seats are disqualified. These rules ensure an appropriate opportunity for fresh applicants to carry out design education.
