On 28 th September’ 16, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) released the notification of the Engineering Services Examination 2017 . The examination is conducted in following three phases
- Preliminary Examination
- Main Examination
- Personality Test
The examination will be conducted to fill up the 440 engineering positions that the central government has in various engineering departments.

The announcement of the examination was made through the official website of the UPSC. The examination can land one a job in any of the following departments:
- Electrical Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
There will be negative marking in the examination and the examination will be objective type. If you want a particular examination centre then apply as early as you can because the centres will be allotted on first come first serve basis.
