In the year 1973, Bangalore University shifted to a new campus named ‘Jnana Bharathi Bangalore University’. The campus is located on 1100 acres of land and shifted many of its postgraduate departments to this newly established campus. The University Law College which was started in 1948 and the College of Physical Education which started in 1959 is located in the Jnana Bharathi Bangalore University Campus. The University has also established Gandhi Bhavan, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar's study and research center, and the center for study on social exclusion and inclusive policy. Apart from this, the Bangalore university also offers separate hostels for boys and girls. There are 6 boys hostel and 1 girl hostel. While the boy's hostel has an occupancy of 1785 inmates, the girl's hostel has an occupancy of 183 inmates. Placement: If you have a 6 CGPA in your academics, then you are eligible for placements. And if you are eligible you will get ample options for campus placements. Many companies visit during the campus placements. In my batch, the highest package was 15 LPA offered to one of my batch mate.

These hostels offer accommodation facilities for students coming from different parts of the country and abroad. Also, the university has well-equipped auditoriums and seminar halls where various academic and cultural events, conferences, seminars, and workshops are conducted.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful. They are very understanding and are qualified with good knowledge. The course curriculum designed by the faculty makes the students ready for industrial-level exams too.
Overall: Choosing Bangalore University as my academic partner back then was the best decision in my life. This university has provided me with all the necessary resources within in the campus with least of my efforts, all a student needs to do is grab maximum of the opportunities. The industry exposure that we got during our tenure is commendable. I can clearly observe the difference in terms of concept clarity and strong basics at my workplace and I owe it all to my college.

Learned faculty works hard on students to get them placed in the best of the companies.
Hostel: Hostel life at Bangalore University is really amazing. The university has a number of on-campus hostel facilities available for students, both male and female. The hostels are well-equipped with modern facilities such as air-conditioned rooms, Wi-Fi connectivity, 24x7 electricity, water supply, security and surveillance systems, mess facilities, and recreational activities. The hostel rooms are usually shared by two or three students.
Overall: I am an alumni of Bangalore University and honestly that is one decision which I have never regretted in my life. The percentage of students placed in the year 2022 is about 96% every year. 400+ companies visit our campus like Amazon, Accenture, TCS, Wipro, and many more. The highest package is about 30 LPA, the least is 4 LPA and the average package is 7 LPA.
Infrastructure: Bangalore University has a Wi-Fi facility with good internet speed. We have labs and each lab has Wi-Fi, printers, and a scanner. There is a server room present that handles all machines present in labs. Thus university also has a library, and projector facility for presentation, workshops, and seminars.
Faculty: Teachers are wonderful with experience in the industry. The teachers make students ready for industry-required knowledge. The passing percentage is above 65% for entire placements to sit. The quality of teaching is good, they include industry and industrial visits for the subjects required. Teachers are making students ready for industry requirements.
Hostel: Most hostels at Bangalore University have a dining hall where students can have their meals. The food provided is usually vegetarian, and the menu may vary on a daily basis.The hostels offer rooms on a sharing basis, usually with two or three students per room.
