The University of Calicut is also known as Calicut University and CU. The University of Calicut is situated in Malappuram district of Kerala. University of Calicut is the largest University in Kerala. The University Of Calicut was established in the year 1968. Under the University of Calicut, there are 30 Post Graduate departments and 480 affiliated colleges. The University of Calicut is accredited with ‘A’ grade by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The University of Calcutta is ranked 57 in NIRF ranking which is issued by MHRD (Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India).
