Central Library : Students congregate at the University of Jammu central library from morning until night every day of the year since it serves as the centre of academic activity. The four-story structure contains small stack rooms and roomy reading halls. Around 4,66,656 rare and modern titles, as well as 276 current magazines with back numbers, are held by the library. Only students on campus have access to the several online periodicals through the library. Photocopiers, LCD projectors, INFLIBNET, CD-ROM databases, and interconnected computer terminals are among the amenities the Library has available at some locations. It uses Radio Frequency Identification (RFID), a system for automated identification that relies on tags or transponders to store and remotely retrieve data in order to identify objects. A little item called an RFID tag is something that may be connected to or built into a product, like a book. Silicon chips and antennae are used in RFID tags to allow them to receive and respond to radio-frequency requests from an RFID transceiver. The University Library is conveniently situated and was built using a modular design. It has a total size of around 9,300 square feet, of which 36,000 square feet is the stack area. In addition to a reading area for newspapers next to the exhibition area, the library provides additional reading places in the textbook, periodicals, Jammu and Kashmir, reference, and private books reading halls. There are also three main reading halls. 500 readers have access to reading facilities in these places.

Aims & Objectives of UJAA
Membership of the Association
Overall: My overall experience was good but has some flaws also. They beautifully presented their college in the nature of universe. They also capture the essence of each opportunity and had personal growth and development.
Overall: If i have to give overall rating i will give 7 out of 10. Jammu university is well known and well established. Its NAAC certified. Most of the courses are provided. One has to give entrance exam for admission i.e. JUET
Placement: The placements ratio was pretty decent. I had got no placements due to my own reason, but students got placements and an average package was 3.8 Lpa at my time.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure was good at my time and now it's been more than Two years. Classes were well furnished and appliances work perfectly. Sperate grounds for playing different sports. Gardens were there.
Faculty: All the faculty of my department was upto the mark. All professors were Ph.d. Cooperative professors help students in every single situation. I was very impressed my faculty.
Hostel: I was a collin(hosteler) when i was pusruing my diploma in civil engineering. The hostels were very neat and clean. Well maintained bathroom for both men and women. The cleaners cleans the hostel fortnightly.
Overall: So, I wanted to share my experience here. My college has a clean surroundings with lots of saplings grown around. The infrastructure is updated after span of time. The staff is well educated but somewhere lacks a spirit of teaching students with the efforts. Actually the need of extra effort is been needed for the students specifically studying in college. Many motivated lectures, presentations should be used to teach them the importance of education that is being pursued from here. There is a myth prevailing around the society is that "kon hey padta ha college me" None studies in college time. But the main studies started from college only,in previous years of school we have only been teached basics towards the education,it may be called as little steps towards the goal. But what we see after entering to our college that, Nether teachers nor students are inclined to prioritise their interests or the goal for which they have come here. The teachers only focuses towards lecture reading, and weekly or monthly assessment tests. Therefore in nutshell I wanted to appeal that kindly focus on mental health of a child suitable for their learning which ultimately leads them towards good career.
Placement: We can find no such placements here to be honest .Some kind of fests were organised only for English literature students. Or some science projects ,but students were given no help from the faculty,ni pick drop service no refreshments nothing. This is the reasons why students not actively participate in such fests.
Infrastructure: Our campus if full of greenery, lots of saplings and trees have been planted here. "Swach Bharat Abhiyan" is successful campaigned here. Special campaigns were organised once in month to teach students the importance of cleanliness.
Faculty: Faculty are well educated highly qualified staff . But can find no such use of smart equipments for teaching purpose. The smart classes have been locked out. No regular classes ,and if there is then students have to wait whole day for classes, you can find no such time table to be followed by teachers here. Unnecessary breaks for students.
Hostel: So, During my time in hostel The fees were charged as- ₹3000/ month which includes only mess fees. During the admission we have to pay ₹5k at the starting for the hostel a collective amount which includes water, electricity,LPG. There were 10 rooms in our block, Each room contains 4 girls, Three beds, three study table, three chairs and single doubled almirah were provided. For fourth child she has to manage her own private things ,she needs to be live there on adjustment basis. If we talk about food it was nice actually, not like other hostels (containing water dal, rice, hard chapattis) Proper menu has been made and food was given in proper way. About security purpose one gatekeeper or security guard, one female caretaker. If we talk about emergency note at night if occurs, You can find no one here to take you, It takes lots of time for patient to reach hospital. Wardens were not permanent there . The hostel gate was closed after 6 P.M.
Overall: They should arrange more facilities and staff for students and provide more practical knowledge. More equipments should be in the lab for practical use
Placement: No need of placement. It is very good in terms of place. I feel very happy to be part of this university so far in my life as it is helping me alot in career
Infrastructure: All over it is quite good but can be better. They should add more goods.i really enjoyed the time but I found it quite uncomfortable to sit there. So definitely needs to improve
Faculty: They have overall good faculty of all the respective subjects but some subject needs specialist teacher. So they can improve it definitely. They have overall very good in all terms
Hostel: Best food in the mess provided at very cheaper rate. The timing of dining is very perfect. I enjoyed my time ine the mess. Just add more food items ine the menu
