JIPMAT application form 2026 will be released tentatively in February 2026 and the deadline for candidates to apply for the JIPMAT 2026 exam will be March 2026. Candidates must upload required documents, including scanned copies of their signatures, photos, and category certificates (where applicable), and provide accurate personal, academic, and communication information when completing the JIPMAT application form. JIPMAT 2026 Detailed Application Process

It is important to know the detailed registration process to fill out the JIPMAT Application Form 2026 correctly. Candidates can refer to the following points to complete and submit their JIPMAT 2026 application form:

  1. JIPMAT Registration

To register for JIPMAT 2026, candidates need to fill in all the basic information and note down the system-generated JIPMAT application number. The following particulars have to be entered in the application form

  • Applicant's name/ Mother's name/ Father's name

  • Date of Birth in DD/MM/YY format

  • Mobile number and Email address

  • Complete postal address with PIN code 

(Only 1 email id and mobile number are valid for one application)

2. Complete JIPMAT 2026 Application Form

Now, candidates will need to enter all the relevant details in the JIPMAT 2026 application form

For OBC- Candidates who are in the non-creamy layer according to the central list of Other Backward Classes available on the National Commission for Backward Classes (NCBC), the Government of India website can mention OBC in the Category column. State list OBC candidates who are not a part of the OBC-NCL (Central List) must choose OBC-NCL.

Economically Weaker Section (EWS) - This provision will be regulated according to the notice issued by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment.

Choice of JIPMAT 2026 Exam Centres - It is compulsory for the candidates to select 4 cities of their choice while filling out the JIPMAT application form 2026. Centres will be allotted to the candidates based on the city choice opted by the candidates but there is a possibility that due to administrative reasons, different cities in nearby areas may be impacted.

3. Uploading Scanned Images

Candidates need to keep the following pointers in mind while uploading photographs, signature and category certificate (if applicable)

  • Passport size pictures should not be with caps or goggles. Pictures should cover 80% of the face (without mask) visible including the ears. It should have a white background.

  • Computer-generated and polaroid pictures won't be accepted

  • Specs are allowed if being used regularly

  • JIPMAT application form 2026 that doesn't adhere to these instructions or with unclear pictures will be rejected

  • If the photograph that has been uploaded is de-shaped or fabricated or is found to be hand-made or computer made then the application form will be rejected and will be treated as using unfair means and such candidates will be dealt with the appropriate action

  • Passport size photo will be used for uploading on JIPMAT online application form and also pasting the same on the attendance sheet at the JIPMAT exam centre

  • Application sent without a photo will be rejected. The photo needs to be attested and candidates are required to take 6-8 passport size photos with white background

  • The photo should be scanned for uploading and the file size should be between 10 KB-200 KB

  • The signature should be uploaded in running handwriting in the box given in the JIPMAT 2026 application form. Writing the full name in the box in capital letters will not be accepted as a signature and the form will be rejected. Unsigned JIPMAT 2026 application form will also be rejected

  • Candidates should sign in white paper with blue/ black pen and scan for uploading

  • The file size should be between 4 kb-30 KB

  • Category certificate and PwD certificate (if applicable) should be uploaded. The size should be between 50-300 KB

4. Pay JIPMAT 2026 Application Fee 

Candidates should pay JIPMAT 2026 application fee using HDFC/ SBI/ Debit card/ Credit Card/ Paytm Payment Gateway through Netbanking/ Wallet. UPI and keep proof of the fee paid for future use. 

JIPMAT 2026 Application Form Correction

The JIPMAT 2026 Application Form Correction Window will be opened by the authorities in the online mode. During this time, candidates will be able to make corrections to some of the details in their JIPMAT application form 2026. What is the maximum age to apply for the JIPMAT exam?

When it comes to applying for the exam, the National Testing Agency (NTA), which is in charge of administering the JIPMAT, has not set an age restriction. As long as they meet the requirements, candidates are eligible to apply for the exam. Candidates must fulfil the following requirements in order to be eligible to apply for JIPMAT:

  • Candidates must have passed their Class 12 final exam in any stream or the equivalent with a minimum cumulative score of 60% (or more for SC/ST/PwD candidates) in the previous three years or be currently awaiting the exam.

What is the JIPMAT Application Fee?

The JIPMAT application fee is a mandatory payment that must be paid by every applicant during the application process in order to successfully complete the registration. Since both IIM Jammu and IIM Bodh Gaya accept the JIPMAT examination, candidates can apply to both these institutions through one single JIPMAT application. If candidates qualify for the JIPMAT examination, they will be able to proceed with the admission process for either of these institutions with the same JIPMAT application as well.
