
CBSE Class 10 Math Weightage 2026 : The CBSE Class 10 mathematics theory paper will be conducted for 80 marks and the remaining 20 marks will be allotted to internal assessment. The internal assessment will be further divided into 5 marks test, 5 marks MCQs, 5 marks lab practical and 5 marks portfolio. While coming to the theory exam, Section A will carry 20 MCQs, each of which will be of 1 mark. Section B will carry five very short questions of 2 marks each. Section C will carry six short questions of 3 marks each. Section D will carry four long questions of 5 marks each. Three case-based questions of 4 marks each will be included in section E.
