CBSE Class 10 Mathematics Sample Paper 2025-26 is uploaded online on the official website of CBSE Academics at cbseacademic.nic.in. You are required to regularly solve the sample question papers to understand the curriculum and the CBSE Class 10 Math Exam Pattern 2025-26. Do not forget to first complete your syllabus and then pick up the question paper for an effective revision session. There are two options for students to choose from in Mathematics: Mathematics Standard or Mathematics Basic. The question paper pattern will be the same for both.

The question paper will be a blend of MCQs, very short answer type questions, short answer type questions, and long answer questions. Guidelines For CBSE Class 10 Mathematics Sample Paper 2025-26

You are required to follow the following guidelines when solving the latest CBSE Class 10 Mathematics Sample Paper 2025-26. The same structure is to be followed during the main exam:

• The theory paper will be conducted for 80 marks.
• 20 marks will be allotted for the internal assessment.
• The question paper will consist of 38 questions.
• The question paper will be divided into 5 Sections: A, B, C, D, and E.
• In Section A, Questions no. 1-18 are multiple choice questions (MCQs,) and questions no. 19 and 20 are Assertion-Reason based questions of 1 mark each.
• In Section B, Questions no. 21-25 are very short answer (VSA) type questions, carrying 02 marks each.
• In Section C, Questions no. 26-31 are short answer (SA) type questions, carrying 03 marks each.
• In Section D, Questions no. 32-35 are long answer (LA) type questions, carrying 05 marks each.
• In Section E, Questions no. 36-38 are case study-based questions carrying 4 marks each, with subparts of the values of 1, 1, and 2 marks each, respectively.
• It is compulsory to write all the questions.
• An internal choice in 2 questions of section B, 2 Questions of section C, and 2 Questions of section D has been provided. An internal choice has been provided in all the 2-mark questions of Section E.
• You must draw neat and clean figures wherever required.
• Take π =22/7 wherever required if not stated.
• Use of calculators is not allowed.

• Step 1: You will first have to visit the official website of CBSE Academics at cbseacademic.nic.in
• Step 2: The home page will open on your screen, where you have to click on the option called Sample Question Paper present on the menu bar.
• Step 3: Now, select your year and class.
• Step 4: A new page will open where you can download the question paper according to the different subjects of the curriculum.
