There is no entrance exam for admission to the UG courses of Hindu College, Delhi. Hindu College B.A. Programme Eligibility Criteria 2019

For admission to the B.A. (Bachelor of Arts) programme with any stream in Hindu College of Delhi University, the candidate must pass class 12th from any central or state recognised secondary education board with the relevant subject of the subject combinations chosen at the time of admissions.

Hindu College B.A. Hons (Political Science, History, Philosophy, Sociology) Eligibility Criteria 2019

The eligibility criteria for admissions with Political Science, History, Philosophy, Sociology subjects in Hindu College is subject to Delhi University Guided norms. The candidate must have 55% marks in class 12th or more in either compulsory English language or any one of scheduled languages from List A1 issued by the University of Delhi. For admissions at Hindu College with the B.A. courses mentioned the candidates also must have a combination of the best three other subjects from List A and List B of elective subjects of Delhi University.

Out of the best three, one subject must be the concerned subject in which admission is sought by the candidate in Delhi University’s Hindu College, otherwise, a deduction of 1% will be imposed on the best of four aggregate marks scored. However, this deduction will not be applicable for admissions in B.A. Philosophy (Hons).

The inclusion of any subjects which are not given in List A and B in the best of three will lead to a deduction of 2.5% on each subject affecting the best of four aggregate.

Hindu College B.A. Hons (English) Eligibility Criteria 2019

The candidate must have an aggregate of 55% marks or more in English and a combination of three best other subjects. Hindu college B.A. English Hons admission eligibility criteria are at par with the Delhi University set criteria as an affiliated college. The combination of 3 best subjects are from among these subjects mentioned: any language subjects (core/elective) from List A, Economics, Geography, History, Legal Studies, Mathematics, Philosophy, Political Science, Psychology and Sociology.

Hindu College B.A. Hons (Economics) Eligibility Criteria 2019

For choosing the economics honours course at Hindu College of the University of Delhi, applicants must pass class 12th in Mathematics in the higher secondary qualifying examination of the respective board of secondary education.

An aggregate of 60% marks or more in one language from the list A1 is compulsory, a combination of the three best other elective subjects from the DU Lists A and B.

Non-inclusion of Economics from the best of four will lead to 1% mark deduction in the best of four aggregate. Inclusion of any other subject than those given in DU recognised Lists A and B in the best of two will result in the deduction of 2.5% per subject in the total aggregate of the best of four.

Hindu College B.A. Hons (Sanskrit) Eligibility Criteria 2019

The candidate must have scored 40% or more marks in Class 10 or Class 12 level in Sanskrit for seeking admission to Hindu College’s B.A. Honors Sanskrit course under the University of Delhi.

An aggregate of 45% or above marks in either compulsory English or any Indian language from List A issued by the University of Delhi and the combination of best of three other subjects from List A and List B will be considered for admission in Sanskrit Honors in Hindu College.

The inclusion of any subject which is not given in List A and List B for the best of three will result in a deduction of 2.5% mark per subject in the best of four aggregate marks.

Hindu College B.A. Hons (Hindi) Eligibility criteria 2019

The candidate must have 55% or more marks in Hindi IN 12th for admission in B.A. Hons in Hindi at Hindu College. A minimum aggregate of 50% or more in Hindi as core or elective language and combination of best of 3 other subjects from Delhi University approved List A and List B.

Insertion of any subject other than the subjects in List A and List B in the Delhi University is an acceptable combination of the best of three which will lead to a deduction of 2.5% in each subject in the best of four aggregate.

Hindu College B.A. Hons (Sanskrit) Eligibility Criteria 2019

The candidate must have scored 40% or more marks in Class 10 or Class 12 level Sanskrit for seeking admission to Hindu College’s B.A. Honors Sanskrit course under the University of Delhi.

An aggregate of 45% or above marks in either compulsory English or any Indian language from List A issued by the University of Delhi and the combination of the best of three other subjects from List A and List B will be considered for admission.

The inclusion of any subject which is not given in List A and List B for the best of three will result in a deduction of 2.5% mark per subject in the best of four aggregate marks.

Hindu College B.A. Hons (Music) Eligibility Criteria 2019

Candidates seeking admission to the Bachelor degree with Honours in Music at Hindu College of Delhi University course must have passed any Delhi University recognised central or state board 12th level examinations with 45% or more marks in the aggregate with Music as one of the subjects.

Hindu College B.Sc Hons (Mathematics, Statistics) Eligibility Criteria 2019

The candidate must have passed 12th from any UGC recognised central and state University with a minimum of 55% marks in Mathematics and 45% in aggregate for seeking admission in B.Sc Mathematics honours or B.Sc statistics honours course at Hindu College.

Hindu College B.Sc Hons (Botany, Zoology) Courses Eligibility Criteria 2019

The candidate must have passed 12th from any UGC recognised central and state secondary board with PCB or Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Biotechnology. The candidate must have scored more than 55% marks in the three subjects that are mentioned. The candidate has to have 50% marks at least in the English Language to be considered eligible for Hindu College admissions in the B.Sc Hons specialisations of Botany and Zoology.

Hindu College B.Sc Hons (Physics, Chemistry) Courses Eligibility Criteria 2019

The candidate must have passed 12th from any UGC recognised central and state secondary board with PCM which is, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The candidate must have scored more than 55% marks in the three subjects that are mentioned. The candidate has to have 50% marks at least in one compulsory language to be considered eligible for Hindu College admissions in the B.Sc Hons specialisations of Physics and Chemistry.

The primary eligibility criteria for B.Sc admissions in Hindu College is that the candidate has to pass the 12th level from any central or state board of secondary education or equivalent. The admission into Hindu College B.A., B.Sc, B.Com Courses is subject to the admission policies of the University of Delhi. The University of Delhi Common Admission Process or CAP is the only application process acceptable to Hindu College. The student has to visit the admissions portal of DU and apply through the admission portal by furnishing all the details and uploading the scanned copy of documents to support the academic records uploaded on the website by the applicant for 2019 admissions.

The selection process in the Hindu College of Delhi Unversity is done through the Common Application Process (CAP) of Delhi University. Candidates applying for the Hindu College PG courses i.e. M.A., M.Sc, and M.Com courses need to have knowledge about the Hindu College PG eligibility criteria 2019. Eligibility criteria can be divided into mainly 3 parts i.e. age, basic qualification, entrance exams. For the PG courses at Hindu college candidates need to have a graduation degree in the respective departments from any UGC recognized college.
