IIIT Hyderabad Admissions 2024- Admissions in various courses are ongoing at IIIT Hyderabad. Candidates will be evaluated based on JEE Main 2024 results along with eligibility criteria for IIIT Hyderabad B.Tech admissions. The session 1 results for JEE Main 2024 will be out on February 12, 2024. JEE Main 2024 Session 2 registration window opened on February 2, 2024 and will remain open till March 2, 2024 uptil 9 pm. However, candidates can pay the JEE Main 2024 Session 2 application fee till March 2, 2024, 11:50 pm. The admit cards will be released three days prior to the exam and the exam is scheduled from April 4, 2024 to April 15, 2024. Candidates can expect the results on April 25, 2024. In case of IIIT Hyderabad M.Tech in Product Design and Management admission, GATE and CEED scores are accepted. CEED 2024 results will be out on March 6, 2024 and GATE 2024 results will be out on March 16, 2024.

Candidates who are representing India for international olympiads like informatics, science, mathematics, physics or linguistics in class 11th or 12th are eligible. For this, candidates must hold a KVPY rank in the range of 5000. Those candidates who have applied for the programme will be called for interview screening. Top 100 KVPY rank holders among those who have applied will be considered for the interview round.

IIITH UGEE Admissions

Candidates who have applied for the programme will have to appear for Undergraduate Entrance Examination(UGEE). The UGEE entrance exam will have two sections- Subject Proficiency Test and Research Aptitude Test. The application fee for the exam is Rs 2,000. The exam will contain questions at the 11th and 12th levels. Only those candidates who scored the required percentage will be considered for admission.

Candidates can apply for IIIT Hyderabad undergraduate courses through DASA mode only if-

• They have completed 11th and 12th or equivalent with Maths, Physics and Chemistry, outside India, by June 2024, or
  has a foreign passport, and completed 11th and 12th or equivalent, with Maths, Physics and Chemistry, anywhere, by June 2024.
• The candidate should have a minimum aggregate score of 1070 out of a maximum of 1600 in SAT. Candidates are ranked based on their total marks first. In the case of a tie in total marks, the marks of the following subjects in the given order will determine the ranks -Evidence based Reading and Writing (SAT), Maths (SAT)

• Candidates must submit their  online application on the IIITH application portal.
• Candidates, while filling up the application need to mention their preferences from the programmes listed in the portal. Candidates will not be able to change it once the application portal closes.
