When students appear for the exam, the next thing they usually do is try and get an idea of how they performed in the exam by speaking to exam experts and fellow test takers. However, the new JEE Advanced 2018 Rank Predictor tool launched by CollegeDekho lets students get a fair idea of how they performed in the exam.
Using the JEE Advanced Rank Predictor, students can also get a fair idea of their estimated rank in the engineering entrance exam. Those who make it to the list of top 2,20,000 candidates in JEE Main will be shortlisted to take JEE Advanced 2019.
The JEE Advanced Rank Predictor 2019 is a great tool for estimating a candidate's chances of making it to the IITs. However, candidates must note that the JEE rank predictor is indicative in nature, hence, results may not be 100% accurate.
Candidates planning to check the rank through the rank predicted tool must know that they need to be a registered member of CollegeDekho.
To do so candidates will have to Sign Up with CollegeDekho by entering the details such as name, email address, mobile number, stream, etc in the Sign Up form.
After a successful Sign Up, candidates will be re-directed to the JEE Advanced rank predictor page.
Check for the Live status of the rank predictor page.
If marked Live, start entering the asked credentials in the rank predictor form of CollegeDekho.
Once all the details are entered candidates must click on the 'Submit' button.
This will generate the rank as predicted by CollegeDekho’s Rank Predictor tool.
After the declaration of the predicted rank result, candidates must check for the engineering colleges that can be available with the expected JEE Advanced rank. Candidates must take a look at the list of Participating Colleges of JEE Advanced 2019 and then decide the college best suited with the expected rank scored by the candidates. Apart from this, candidates can also check for the JEE Advance 2019 Cut-Off marks along with the previous years’ JEE Advanced Cutoffs. This will give an idea to the students regarding their position in the cut-off list of JEE Advanced 2019.
It is to remember that the rank predicted here by CollegeDekho’s JEE Advance 2018 Rank Predictor tool is not the final rank that the test takers of JEE Advance 2018 will attain. The prediction will be based on the numbers entered by the test takers. These numbers are the correct and incorrect answers attempted by the candidates in the examination. The Final Rank will be declared by the exam conducting authority of JEE Advance 2018, subject to the performance of the test takers in the examination. The JEE Advance 2019 Result will be declared after the completion of the examination will be final rank scored and secured by the JEE Advance 2018 takers.
