In order to secure admission in PGDM courses at LBSIM, the candidates must have a sound academic background and a valid score in national-level management entrance exams such as CAT and GMAT. Without a valid score in entrance exams, LBSIM does not grant PGDM admission. There are various other factors that are taken into account.

The candidates who wish to take admission in the part-time and executive PGDM programmes are also required to have a valid score in the entrance exam. For all the candidates who are interested in pursuing the MCA course of LBSIM, GGSIPU will release a separate notification, and the admissions are based as per GGSIPU rules.

 LBSIM PGDM Eligibility Criteria 2019

In order to take admission in the PGDM course at LBSIM, the candidates will have to ensure that they meet the eligibility.The candidates who have passed Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% of marks are eligible to apply for LBSIM PGDM courses. The candidates must have a valid score in CAT (recent)/ GMAT (recent) to be considered for the admission process. Final-year Bachelor’s degree students can also apply for LBSIM PGDM courses.

Foreign applicants are also eligible to take admission in PGDM at LBSIM. However, they must note that the GMAT score is mandatory for them to take admission at LBSIM in the PGDM programmes.

LBSIM PGDM Application Process 2019

Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management (LBSIM) Delhi begins the admissions for PGDM programmes in September every year. The PGDM admission procedure of LBSIM begins filling the application form in online mode. Eligible candidates can visit the official website of LBSIM to submit the online application for PGDM programmes. Candidates will be required to pay the application fee of Rs.1250. Application fee has to be paid online.

 LBSIM PGDM Selection Process 2019

LBSIM selection process for PGDM courses involves different stages. The different stages of the selection process are as follows:

Shortlisting of Candidates:

Primarily, LBSIM shortlists the candidates for the subsequent rounds of admission process based on his/her score in CAT/ GMAT. Apart from the score in the entrance test, previous academic record, work experience (if any) and other academic details specified by the candidate in the application form will be considered for preliminary shortlisting. Only the shortlisted candidates will be considered for the subsequent rounds of PGDM selection process.

Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (Group Discussion) and Personal Interview (PI):

The shortlisted candidates will be called for WAT, GD and PI in the centres selected by the candidates in the online application form. The candidates must appear for WAT, GD and PI at the selected centres on the scheduled date. The capabilities of the candidates such as written ability, GD skills, aptitude, and purpose for studying PGDM etc will be evaluated during this stage. The candidates must show impressive performance in these activities, as there is a weightage for the same in the selection process.

Final Selection:

The final selection of the candidate will be based on his/ her overall score in CAT/ GMAT, GD, WAT, PI, previous academic performance and work experience (if any). The institute via e-mail or SMS will intimate the selected candidates regarding the admission offer.

 LBSIM PGDM Executive PGDM Eligibility Criteria 2019

The candidates who are interested in pursuing the Executive PGDM programme at LBSIM must ensure that they have satisfied the eligibility criteria for Executive PGDM at LBSIM. The Executive PGDM applicants of LBSIM must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% of marks. The applicants must have a valid score in CAT/ XAT/ GMAT. The candidates must have a minimum of five years of work experience. Company sponsored candidates will be given more preference during the admission process.

Application Process for PGDM at LBSIM

Along with the academic qualification, the candidate will also be required to have at least two years of work experience at an executive level in an industrial, commercial, service, or government organization.

Application Process for PGDM at LBSIM

Eligibility Criteria for MCA at LBSIM

The candidates will have to meet the eligibility criteria for MCA at LBSIM in order to be shortlisted for the admission process for the programme. The candidates who have passed BCA/ B.Sc Computer Science/ B.Sc IT with a minimum of 50% of marks are eligible to apply. Candidates who have passed Bachelor’s degree in any stream with 50% of marks can also apply. However, these candidates should have studied Mathematics and English as the subjects at Class 12 level. The candidates must qualify IPU MCA CET entrance test conducted by GGSIPU. Some seats are reserved for LBSIM under management quota for which admissions are based on UG merit.

Application Process for MCA at LBSIM

in order to take admission in MCA at LBSIM, the candidates will have to follow the application process for MCa at LBSIM. The college follows the application process as per the rules set by GGSIPU. The candidates will have to visit the official website of GGSIPU, search for the application form for MCA, fill and submit the application form correctly and completely. Once the candidate has successfully submitted the application form along with completing the payment for the application form, the candidates will then be shortlisted as per the eligibility criteria for MCA. 

Selection Process for MCA at LBSIM

LBSIM selection process for MCA course is based on admission rules prescribed by GGSIPU. Candidates must qualify IPU MCA CET entrance exam to secure admission in LBSIM MCA course. GGSIPU conducts a centralised counselling process for MCA admissions, and the candidates with a valid IPU MCA CET score can take part in the counselling process. LBSIM will release a cutoff mark for the IPU MCA CET entrance exam, and the candidates who clear the cutoff mark have chances to secure MCA admission at LBSIM. The candidates must choose LBSIM as the first/ second option in the option entry form of IPU CET counselling.
