NIT Manipur Admission 2024 - Dates, Form, Online Process, Fees

NIT Manipur admission 2024 is based on entrance exam scores such as JEE Main, JAM and GATE. JEE Main 2024 Session 2 registration is currently open. The JEE Main exam will be place between April 4 and April 15, 2024. The deadline for enrollment is March 2, 2024. The IIT JAM 2024 for NIT Manipur MSc admission will take place on February 11. NIT Manipur B.Tech Selection Process 2023

The final admission to B.Tech courses in NIT Manipur will be based on the candidate’s JEE Main rankings. Those candidates who qualify for the JEE Mains cutoff criteria will be selected for the counselling process by JoSAA. The national-level counselling will be conducted in online mode after which the candidates will be allowed admission into their desired B.Tech courses in NIT Manipur. 

Candidates who wish to apply for M.Tech courses offered by National Institute of Technology, Manipur should possess a B.Tech/B.E degree in an appropriate discipline. M.Tech applicants must accomplish at least 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA out of 10 in the qualifying examination to be eligible to apply for M.Tech courses in NIT Manipur. SC/ST/PwD candidates will be offered 5% relaxation in qualifying exam marks. 

NIT Manipur M.Tech Application Process 2023

In order to register for M.Tech at NIT Manipur, candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs. 1500 (Rs.750 is for SC/ST and PwD candidates). The fee can be paid online through debit/credit cards/net banking or e-challan. RS.2200 for general candidates and Rs. 1700 for SC/ST and PwD candidates also has to be paid for the CCMT counselling, the payment for which has to be done through SBI e-challan.

NIT Manipur M.Tech Selection Process 2023

NIT Manipur M.Tech applicants must secure a valid GATE score to be eligible for CCMT Counselling, followed by document verification for admission in M.Tech courses in NIT Manipur.

In order to apply for M.Sc courses in NIT Manipur, the candidates must have either studied Mathematics as Honours or Major subject or should have studied Chemistry/Physics as the main subject for at least two years and mathematics for one year. NIT Manipur is presently offering an M.Sc programme in three subjects-Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Candidates having B.Sc/B.S degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 55% marks or 6 CGPA (out of 10) will be eligible to apply for M.Sc courses in  NIT Manipur. 5% relaxation in marks will be granted to candidates belonging to reserved categories like SC/ST/PwD. 

NIT Manipur M.Sc Application Process 2023

In order to apply for the M.Sc course at NIT Manipur, candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs 1500 (Rs 750 is for SC/ST and PwD candidates). It can be paid through debit/credit cards, net banking or e-challan. Rs 1000 also has to be paid additionally as a CCMT counselling fee through SBI e-challan or NEFT.
