Admission to B. Arch course at Sir J. J. College of Architecture (SJJCA) is through the NATA exam conducted by Council of Architecture (CoA) or through JEE entrance exam conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). Along with the entrance exam score, the candidate must meet the eligibility criteria in order to get the admission in SJJCA Mumbai. SJJCA Mumbai B.Arch Eligibility Criteria 2019

The minimum eligibility criteria to get admission in B.Arch at SJJCA Mumbai is as described below.

• The candidates should have secured a minimum of 50% marks in 12^th with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English as the main subjects.

The application processing fee of Rs. 800 (General) and Rs. 600 (SC/ST/ Reserved category) must be paid by online mode only.
2. Next, the candidates must produce all the original documents mentioned in the application form at the facilitation center.
3. The merit list of the eligible candidates will be displayed on the website.
4. The candidates whose names are in the merit list can check the seat matrix that will be displayed on the website containing details about institutes, courses offered, sanctioned intake and number of seats available for each category.
5. Basis seat matrix, the candidates can fill the online option form with their preferences of courses and institutions and must confirm it for final submission.
6. After that, CAP rounds will be conducted by the competent authority where seat allotment will be done. The candidates who are satisfied with their seat allotment can report to the Admission Reporting Center (ARC) to accept the offered seat. The candidates who have declined the seats can appear in subsequent rounds of counselling.
7. Only after visiting ARC, the candidates can report to the allotted college for confirmation of seats.

SJJCA Mumbai B.Arch Selection Process 2019

The following weightage is provided to the exams/HSC score for seat allotment through CAP.

1. 50% weightage to HSC marks.
2. 50% weightage to valid score of National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) 2019 or normalized marks in JEE (Main) paper II scores.

SJJCA Mumbai M.Arch Eligibility Criteria 2019

The candidates who are interested in taking M.Arch course at SJJCA Mumbai must pass the following eligibility criteria.

1. The applicant should be an Indian National.
2. The candidate should have passed Bachelor degree of Architecture from a recognized university with at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to backward class category and person with disability of Maharashtra state only).
3. The candidate must obtain a non zero score in MAH-M.Arch-CET exam.

SJJCA Mumbai M.Arch Application Process 2019

All the candidates aspiring to take admission in M.Arch course at SJJCA Mumbai have to appear in  MAH M.ARCH CET exam. For that, the candidates have to visit the official website of the DTE, Maharashtra and fill the application form with the required details. The candidates are required to upload a scanned passport size photograph and scanned signature while filling the application form. The application fee can be paid through credit card/debit card/net banking. It is advisable to take the print out of the form for future references.

The qualified candidates can take part in the Centralized Counselling Process (CAP) conducted by DTE, Maharashtra and takes place in following steps.

1. The registration for counselling will be done online on the official website of DTE, Maharashtra and includes submitting of the personal and educational information, upload of scanned images and payment of counselling fees. After the payment of the counselling fee, candidates are advised to take the printout of the filled in application form which is to be presented at facilitation center.
2. Next step is to visit the facilitation center for the verification of documents. The candidates have to bring the original documents along with their self-attested photocopies.
3. After verification, a merit list will be displayed on the website for the eligible candidates.
4. The eligible candidates can visit online and fill the option entry form with the preferences of colleges and courses. In order to maximize the chances of getting SJJCA, it is advisable to put the college on a first preference in the option entry form. The candidates can fill minimum of 1 and a maximum of 300 choices of colleges and courses. Once the option entry form is confirmed by the candidate, the details cannot be edited.
5. Based on the preferences, seat allotment process takes place and displayed online. The candidates who got the college as per their preference can report to the Admission Reporting Center (ARC) for confirmation of the allotted seat and further report to the allotted college. Those candidates who are not satisfied with the seat allotment can decline the seat and can participate in next rounds of CAP.
