MHT-CET application process involves all the steps that candidates must follow in order to apply for the exam. From obtaining the MHT-CET application form to submitting the form, the entire procedure to apply for the exam has been detailed below. To apply for MHT-CET 2018, applicants have to visit the Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra State, Mumbai.
Applicants have to enter their valid E-mail ID, Mobile Number and Password to login.
Applicants also have to add their details (Name, Father's Name, Date of Birth, Email ID and Mobile No.)
After filling the details, applicants have to upload their scanned (digital) recent coloured Photograph and Signature. Files uploaded must not be larger or smaller than the specified size.
Specification for Photograph and Signature:
For Uploading Photograph
Recent coloured passport size Photograph taken against a light/white background. The application form may get rejected in case the candidate's face in the photograph is unclear.
The file size of the Photograph should be between 15 KB to 50 KB in jpeg format.
To reduce the size of picture, applicants can crop their passport size image in MS Paint or in any other Photo Editor.
For Uploading Signature
Applicants have to sign (no capital letters) with a black ink pen on a white paper.
Signature scanning should be in 200 dpi (dots per inch) scanner resolution settings and the file size must lie between 5 KB to 20 KB in jpeg format.
To reduce the Signature size, candidates may crop the signature image in MS Paint or in any other Photo Editor.
General category applicants have to pay INR 800/ as application fee.
Backward Class Categories [SC, ST, VJ/DT- NT(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), OBC, SBC] and Persons with Disability applicants have to pay INR 600/- as application fee.
MHT-CET application form fee is to be paid through online system only by Credit Card/Debit Card (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets for which the service charges are applicable.
On successful payment of the application fee, a confirmation of the same is displayed online.
Applicants are then advised to take a print out of the receipt for future references and keep a printout of the MHT-CET Registration Confirmation Page safe.
