The Birla Vishvakarma Mahavidyalaya (BVM) is an Engineering College which was founded long ago in 1948 in order to improve the engineering education facilities in the State of Gujarat. The institute is now managed under Charutar Vidyamandal Gujarat Group Colleges. The college is affiliated under the Gujarat Technical University (GTU) and takes admissions in various UG and PG courses as per the GTU guidelines. The institute has a long legacy and is one of the most popular institutes of engineering in Gujarat State. The BVM Engineering College offers B.Tech courses in Undergraduate level and M.Tech courses at PG level.
The institute is approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) and takes admission based on the GUJCET entrance examination which is the state level entrance examination for Engineering and Pharmacy courses. The institute started with the intake capacity of 150 students per year which have increased over the years.

Overall: Overall experience about this college was good and many of the staffs help me a lot during the exams which is very good and also there are many computer labs in this college so students can take advantage of it.
Placement: over all placements this year is very poor its a huge drop of placements when compare to past few years in this college less number of companies are recruiting this year students and decreased eligibility criteria.
Infrastructure: college infrastructure was good more facilities libraries and administrative activities and also there are sports facilities smart boards digital class rooms and projectors and good updated lab equipment.
Faculty: They are very friendly with the students, and above all, they are very hardworking, one can clear their doubts to anyone in the faculty anytime and they are available for students anytime.
Hostel: The hostel facilities are not very good and the infrastructure of this college is is not well maintained but it is wifi enabled hostel so it is plus point for students.
