Dear Student,

Admission for M.Sc course for working professionals in BITS is ongoing till December 23, 2024. If you are a working professional then you can apply for admission online at bits-pilani.ac.in/admissions. However, before you proceed to apply for the course, make sure that you have graduated with a B.Sc degree with a minimum of 50%. M.Sc course admission in BITS varies based on the specializations. For M.Sc in Mathematics and Physics, you will need to qualify the BITSAT 2025 exam, registration for which is expected to begin in January. The expected date for BITSAT exam is May-June. However, for other courses such as M.Sc. Information Systems, M.Sc. in Business Analytics etc. the admission will be conducted based on the marks secured in the qualifying examination.

We hope that this answers your query. Good luck!

Hi…. I don’t have any idea about the fee structure at BITS. LPU has been ranked amongst the top recognized universities in the World. It is India's Best & Top Private University. LPU has got 47th National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) Rankings 2022 among all govt and private universities in India. LPU is recognized by UGC and offers courses from undergraduate to post-doctorate. Lovely Professional University strongly believes in the fact that monetary constraints should not be an obstacle for a student to have access to quality education. So, the University extends Scholarship Scheme which is an initiative by the University to cultivate the talent of students that may be hidden due to financial constraints. Scholarship can be availed in all the Programmes of the University, ranging from Diploma to Ph.D. At LPU the fee is as per the caliber of the student. It varies with the student's score and achievements in the previous academic qualification as well as their score in LPUNEST. At LPU scholarships are awarded to candidates based on their performance in the eligibility qualification: (for example, on the basis of performance in10+2 for undergraduate programmes and graduation for PG Programmes), Qualification previous to eligibility qualification: This scholarship is applicable after graduation programmes, scholarship on the basis of qualification previous to eligibility qualification, LPUNEST score, certain national level tests (like JEE (Mains), NEET, UCEED, CAT, MAT, GATE, GPAT, MAT etc.), scholarship based on Innovation, Startup & Entrepreneurship, performance in sports, cultural, R&D, co-curricular, social service and bravery awards, for toppers of centre and state boards. The candidate may be eligible for more than one scholarships but he will be entitled for only one, whichever is the highest. Apart from the scholarship schemes, LPU also offers financial aid to the students belonging to underprivileged students like orphans, persons with disability etc. or some specific groups like Wards of Defence personnel etc At LPU there are different types of rooms like dormitory, two seater, single seater, ac, non ac, etc. available in the hostels and the fee vary accordingly from Rs. 35000 to Rs. 1.65 lakh per annum. Early Decision Benefit on residential charges is given to the students, if applicant avail the residential facility on or before the timeline. Students have an option to avail Mess Plan from the University or may manage on their own. Students are provided with flexible options to choose their preferred mess (within hostel or outside hostel), choice in food varieties and option to avail lunch near respective academic block in case sufficient number of students opt for the same. The mess charges vary as per the menu (Standard Mess, Basic Mess and Ala Carte) opted by the student, from Rs. 40,000 to 50, 000 per annum. Early Decision Benefit of Rs. 5000 is also given on mess charges, if applicant avail the mess facility on or before a fixed date as mentioned on the website. With EDB the fee get reduced to Rs.35000 to Rs.45000.After availing EDB the monthly charges may vary from Rs 3500 to Rs 4500 which is I think very nominal for three meals a day and also getting fresh, healthy and hygienically cooked food. I hope this will help
