LPU is recognized by UGC and offers courses from undergraduate to post-doctorate. Lovely Professional University strongly believes in the fact that monetary constraints should not be an obstacle for a student to have access to quality education. So, the University extends Scholarship Scheme which is an initiative by the University to cultivate the talent of students that may be hidden due to financial constraints. Scholarship can be availed in all the Programmes of the University, ranging from Diploma to Ph.D. At LPU the fee is as per the caliber of the student. It varies with the student's score and achievements in the previous academic qualification as well as their score in LPUNEST. Students have an option to avail Mess Plan from the University or may manage on their own. Students are provided with flexible options to choose their preferred mess (within hostel or outside hostel), choice in food varieties and option to avail lunch near respective academic block in case sufficient number of students opt for the same. Early Decision Benefit of Rs. 5000 is also given on mess charges, if applicant avail the mess facility on or before a fixed date as mentioned on the website. With EDB the fee get reduced to Rs.35000 to Rs.45000.After availing EDB the monthly charges may vary from Rs 3500 to Rs 4500 which is I think very nominal for three meals a day and also getting fresh, healthy and hygienically cooked food.
