- There are presently two Boys Hostels and one Girls Hostel in the institute. Around 530 men and 300 women are housed in these hostels. Both boys and girls are given yoga and meditation instruction in the morning. A stringent code of behaviour is enforced in the dorms. For parents and visitors, the hostel has a well-equipped guest room.
- The BNMIT library is a fully computerised institution. For usage of library resources, books are bar-coded, and pupils are given identity cards. The library has subscribed to E-Resources Online through the VTU consortium to help library users with project work, technical reports, and R&D activities.
- A Canara Bank extension counter is open six days a week on the college campus to provide financial services to students and teachers.
