The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the National Institute of Technology (NIT-K) Surathkal hosted a two-day international conference called Advancements in Smart Sustainable Energy Sources Technologies and Systems (ASSETS) 2024. The inaugural ceremony took place today, March 11th, at 9:30 a.m. in the LHC-C at NITK Surathkal.
JEE Main admit card 2024 for session 2 is expected to be released on March 29, 2024. Candidates applied for admission can download the admit card online.

NIT Surathkal has started admission for 2024 session. JEE Main 2024 will be conducted in two sessions: the January session and the April session. The exam date for both the sessions has been announced. Registration for JEE Main 2024 session 2 has started and will be open till March 2 for Surathkal engineering admission. The session 2 exam for JEE Main 2024 is scheduled from April 4 to 15, 2024.
For NIT Surathkal admission to M.Tech courses in the academic year 2024, GATE 2024 schedule has been released by IISc Bangalore on the official website. The GATE 2024 exam is scheduled to take place on February 3, 4, 10, and 11, 2023. The anticipated start date for GATE 2024 application forms is going to start from the last week of August, 2023. National Institute of Technology Karnataka Surathkal was established as the Karnataka Regional Engineering College or KREC in 1960, as part of the second planning commission. NIT Surathkal admissions 2024 to B.Tech courses are based on JEE Main scores, so it's mandatory for candidates to appear for JEE Main 2024. The result of JEE Main 2024 session 1 will be announced on February 12 while session 2 registration has started and will close on March 2. For admissions to M.Tech courses, candidates have to appear for GATE and get valid scores to get accepted into the institute. For NIT Surathkal admissions to MCA courses, candidates have to appear for NIMCET and for MBA courses, candidates have to appear for CAT/MAT/GATE to get admission. The NIT Surathkal placement drive for the year 2022 has placed a total of 86.1% of the students. In B.Tech alone, 96.9% of students were placed. A total of 1385 out of 1608 students are placed by now. The highest salary package of Rs 45 LPA and the average salary package of Rs 21.4 LPA is acquired in the year 2022. Overall: The education system and everything is good here I would recommend other students to join here for these course the teachers are were understanding and a little strict
Placement: Ido not know much about the placement as I am still in my 3rd semester but most of my seniors are placed in very good company I don't really know a much about the placement in this college
Infrastructure: The college has an nice infrastructure with nice classroom and other required facilities the a student might required in the college and thier is a good cateen
Faculty: The teachers are very good at what they do and they try to solve most off our problem which we might face in our study as usual in any college they are strict and also friendly if we are good with them
Hostel: I don't know much about the hostel facilities as I am staying in an pg but I heard that the food is ok which is not bad and edible it has wifi the rooms are nice
