What's new at NIT Surathkal?
JEE Main 2024 will be conducted in two sessions: the January session and the April session. The exam date for both the sessions has been announced. As per the notification released by NTA, session 1 exam for JEE Main 2024 is scheduled from January 24 to February 1, 2024. Meanwhile, the session 2 exam for JEE Main 2024 is scheduled from April 1 to 15, 2024. The registration dates have not been released yet and will be out soon. National Institute of Technology Karnataka Surathkal was established as the Karnataka Regional Engineering College or KREC in 1960, as part of the second planning commission. NITK Surathkal has emerged as one of the most eminent engineering and technological institutes in Karnataka. NIT Surathkal is one of the top engineering colleges of Karnataka situated in Mangalore district beside the Arabian Sea on the western coast of the country. It is an autonomous institute and is approved by AICTE for conducting technical education. There are many academic and extracurricular facilities at NIT Surathkal. As per the NIRF Ranking 2022, NIT Mangalore has secured the 10th position in the engineering category.

NIT Surathkal Important Notifications 2022: JEE Main session 2 provisional answer key is out. In case of discrepancies in the provisional answer key, candidates can raise objections against the answer key till April 21, 2023, 5 pm.
NIT Surathkal admissions 2023 to B.Tech courses are based on JEE Main scores, so it's mandatory for candidates to appear for JEE Main. For admissions to M.Tech courses, candidates have to appear for GATE and get valid scores to get accepted into the institute. For NIT Surathkal admissions to MCA courses, candidates have to appear for NIMCET and for MBA courses, candidates have to appear for CAT/MAT/GATE to get admission.
