The campus of Institute of Engineering and Management, Kolkata provides residential facilities to the students at the campus itself. The hostel of IEM, Kolkata serves good quality food to both vegetarians and nonvegetarians. Dishes from South Indian, North Indian, Western and Eastern cuisines are available in the delicious menu of IEM’s Mess. Separate Hostels are available for both Boys and Girls ensuring total security to the girl student.

The IEM Renewable Energy Club is an active independent organization which aims at creating a more secure future from the point of view of energy needs. The members of the club strive to generate awareness regarding the necessity to shift focus on renewable sources of energy and the club has also developed some small scale innovative models to generate energy from non-conventional sources

IEM has two buildings for its engineering course-The Gurukul and the Management House. The classrooms are well equipped with latest technology and the labs are equally good.

Institute of Engineering and Management (IEM), Kolkata does not offer the Master of Computer Applications (MCA) course.
Also, being a psychology student, you would not be considered eligible for admission in MCA. A BCA degree is required for the same. You will have to look for courses in the same or similar field.
