• Library: The central library is a three-story building. It has a total of 36,000 square feet of shelf space and a working area. For bound volumes of journals, there are 700 seats available in seven reading rooms, known as carrels. A separate library can be found on Salt Lake's Second Campus. The Jadavpur University library is 6,500 square feet in size.
• Hostel: Hostel for Boys has  1254 beds in total. Girls Hostel has  622 beds available. Both of these hostels are located inside the campus. There are 13 hostels with a total capacity of around 1600 students (4 for girls and 9 for boys). Student housing extensions and new buildings are being considered. Moreover, there is an exclusive hostel for research scholars. The student's mess committee is in charge of the hostel mess, which is overseen by the Superintendent of each hostel.

A full-time Medical Superintendent, part-time qualified General Medicine, Eye, E.N.T., Skin, Dental, and Pathology specialists, and a qualified part-time lady doctor staff the facility. To obtain their health card, students must present their fees book as well as a passport-size photograph to the centre. All consultations and medications are provided at no cost to the students.
• Guest House: Jadavpur University has a guest room building inside the campus where students can facilitate their parents or guardians. The guest house has 90 double bedrooms. 3 double bet plus ac rooms, and two single rooms.
• Sports Facilities: At Jadavpur University students can pursue their favourite sports.
