Spread over 256 acres of land, NIT Warangal is considered as one of the premier colleges of engineering in India. Organized in a unique pattern of functioning, NITW has about 100 laboratories. It has a central library spread over 4000 square metres with state of the art facility. The library of NIT Warangal is equipped with 1,79,797 books, technical pamphlets, back volumes, standards, Video Cassettes, CD-ROMs, e-books etc. Apart from this, it is also subscribed to 110 journals (20 Foreign and 90 Indian) at the cost of Rs. 5.91 lakhs. The total cost of the books it has is Rs. 8.81 crores. It also receives 2000 online Journals via NITs Consortium, INDEST-AICTE and NITW. NIT Warangal has an auditorium, Mega Computer Centre, Dispensary with state of the art of facilities, Student Activity Centre, Seminar Halls with required infrastructure, Indoor Games Complex, excellent technical and supporting staff, brilliant student community, shopping complex and many other facilities. The institute has a branch of State Bank of India and two ATMs on the college premises. It also has a post-office that opens from 10.00 A.M. to 5.00 P.M. on weekdays and from 9.00 A.M. to 2.00 P.M. on Saturdays.
It has twenty hostel blocks for men and two for women. It has two government non-vegetarian messes in the boys’ hostels, three Institute food courts known as “IFC A, IFC B, IFC C,” for the men’s hostels and “Priyadharshini Mess” for girls’ hostel. NIT Warangal also has a shopping complex that includes a laundry shop, salon and a xerox shop. Eateries such as Coffee day Express, Nescafe, Bru, Amul also remain open for over ten hours a day. The college also provides an excellent sports facility to its students and encourages them to participate in sports activities as much as possible for the overall development.

The Institute has excellent residential facilities for all the students admitted to the various courses.
Hostel administration is managed by a Chief Warden and a team of Wardens drawn from the faculty and appointed by the Director on a tenure basis. Hostel Advisory Council headed by the Director is responsible for major policy decisions with respect to the hostel administration. Hostel Executive Committee takes decisions on routine matters. Students have representation on both the administrative bodies. Hostel office has full-fledged supporting staff and other workers.

Students Activities & Clubs
NCC aims at inculcating a sense of patriotism and national pride in students. In addition it helps in physical fitness and also promotes all round personality in the students. Adequate facilities exist in the Institute for regular parades firing, training “obstacle course” and organizing camps. It offers 1 credit course in I and II semesters of the B.Tech.
It aims at creating social awareness and also imparts human values in students. Its activities include protection of the environment and social services. It offers 1 credit course in I and II semesters of the B.Tech
The DND club is an organisation which consists of a dedicated group of members always enthusiastic about putting up a well choreographed show for the ever interest crowd of our college and would make attempt evertything they can to make that happen. It has a diverse mix of students who are passonate about dance from b'boying to contemporary to mass, we excel in all dance forms. when its time to turn up the heat and follow the rythm, the only person u need to be is yourself
The Literary and Debating Club is the largest student club in college with a 65-member strong body. It comprises three student groups that organize events in three languages- English, Hindi and Telugu- but work in tandem to benefit students in the realms of writing and speaking by conducting events that are both instructional and enjoyable.
The Music club is a vibrant and elite society of musically gifted students who come together and create fascinating melodies. The purpose of the club is to showcase the musical talent of maximum number of students and it has upheld this tradition over the years.
The club encourages young musicians to interact with each other and gives them an appropriate jam pad. It enables us students to utilize our free time productively and do something what we as music enthusiasts are passionate about.
The club recognizes exceptional talent and promotes it in the right direction. The students in the executive body arrange practice sessions for intra as well as inter collegiate events. Workshops and semester long classes are held for those who are interested in learning music. Thus, if a student wants to excel in the field of music, the club does its bit to help achieve that goal.
The Quiz Club takes pride in being one of the most proactive and popular clubs among the student clubs of NIT Warangal.
Comprising twenty members, the club is dedicated to preparing and hosting quality quizzes for the student population on the campus.
Equipped with events ranging from quizzes such as The Joga Bonitos ( an year-long quiz tournament ) to the Annual General Quiz, the club offers a competing platform for the knowledge-hungry students. The gamut of activities include the Quiz Week ( an intra-mural event ) to quizzes covering specific themes, such as business, sports, literature, fine arts, entertainment, history and politics. The Quiz Club also hosts the Business Quiz held as part of the technical festival Technozion every year and quizzes held as part of the cultural festival Spring Spree. With a motivated team of members and an encouraging response from the students, the Quiz Club promises to cultivate a passion for quizzing among the participants.
