About college life in pantnagar as an hosteler and as well as 1 year dayscholar

Overall Hi everyone as from being a resident of next to pantnagar I joined college after clearing jee mains in 2020 during covid and being a dayscholar life was like medium same routine which may cause little disturbance which is true as I didn't take hostel in 1st year so during 1 year it was kinda busy and exhausting but you will love it so I will say as a dayscholar life was 5/10. And about hostel I will mention down from 2 nd year.

Faculty So I will say that faculty around here for being first year and 2nd year is quite good as being they are PhD students as well as senior teacher so they are well managed they are quite good in nature and I will say there are some also older teachers like PhD holders from top notch IIT and NITS. So the teacher around here are good and everyone I will say mostly like 90% of them are good in nature they will help you when you want help in any academic problems. For teachers i would give 8/10.

Choice filling should match the percentile, category, state quota, and previous year closing ranks. Keep more options in B.Sc. Agriculture, then add Horticulture and Forestry to improve seat chances. LPU can also be kept as a choice because it offers an updated curriculum with practical learning, industry exposure, and career support. Fill choices in the real order of preference instead of only selecting top colleges.

The ICAR UG entrance exam is conducted for **600 marks**. There is no fixed pass mark. Admission depends on the cutoff, which changes every year based on the number of candidates, difficulty level, and available seats. To appear, complete Class 12 with the required subjects, register for the exam, prepare from the NCERT syllabus, and take the test. Students at **LPU** can also prepare well with regular academic guidance and practical learning.

ICAR is a great option in that case you are planning NEET and you have backup options. The NEET syllabus is also similar, and hence preparation in the NEET should automatically assist in preparing ICAR. In order to pass the ICAR exam, you have to specialize in the concepts in Physics, Chemistry and Biology, go through past years papers and go through NCERT comprehensively. It is also essential to score well by time management and frequent mock tests. In the event that you are eligible under ICAR, you can look at seeking agriculture courses at Lovely Professional University that boasts of modern laboratories, qualified staff, and a high level of exposure to the industry. LPU is also scholarship based on the performance at ICAR and it renders education less expensive. The university is focused on hands-on learning, research and exposure to the field. All in all, maintaining ICAR as the back-up and focusing on NEET will be a good move, and LPU is the right place to establish a successful career in the field of agriculture and related sciences.
