Call for Proposals – DST-PURSE Handholding of Start-ups at PEC Chandigarh - Proposals are invited under the 'Handholding of Start-ups and Industrial Collaboration' initiative, supported by DST-PURSE (Promotion of University Research and Scientific Excellence) at Punjab Engineering College (Deemed to be University), Chandigarh. This initiative supports innovative ideas and start-up concepts in biomedical and healthcare applications, including biomedical implants, additive manufacturing in healthcare, and point-of-care healthcare devices. Funding support ranges from ₹20,000 to ₹1,00,000 per project, with up to 5 projects supported annually. Mentorship will be provided by PEC faculty and domain experts, along with opportunities for IP protection, networking, and commercialization. The call opens on 15 October 2025, and the last date for submission is 15 November 2025. Interested parties can submit proposals in the prescribed format to dstpurse@pec.edu.in.
