How to Prepare for ATMA 2023 Verbal Skills Section: The AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA) exam is conducted every year for MBA admission. Candidates aspiring to study MBA should early begin with the ATMA 2023 preparation.
Candidates must check out the ATMA 2023 exam pattern before starting the preparation. ATMA 2023 exam will be divided into six sections, Analytical Reasoning, Quantitative Skills, and Verbal Skills with each section having Part I and Part II. In comparison to the Analytical Reasoning and Quantitative Skills, the Verbal Skills section is difficult.
It is designed to test the candidates' command of standard written English, their skills in analyzing arguments, and their ability to read critically. The verbal skills section tests a candidate’s knowledge regarding correct usage of grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension. Candidates can improve their skills in solving questions from this section by reading newspapers and books. It does not have any formulae or theorems. Highlights of ATMA 2023 Verbal Skills Section
The Verbal Skills Section is mainly to evaluate the candidates’ command of the English language. This section tests the grammar, language comprehension, and vocabulary of the candidate. Traditionally, this section is regarded as moderately difficult. However, candidates who are good at English or comprehension may find it easier than others. Here are some key points for the Verbal Skills Sections that candidates must be aware of:
- The verbal skills section will comprise two parts: Verbal Skills Part I and Verbal Skills Part II.
- There are 30 questions in each section and a total of 60 questions in the Verbal Skills Section.
- All questions will carry equal marks, i.e., one mark for correct answers.
- There will be negative marking, i.e., 0.25 marks will be deducted with each wrong answer.
- All the questions in this section will be Multiple Choice Questions Based.
- Candidates must aim to score 22-25 correct answers in each section to be a good attempt.

ATMA 2023 Verbal Skills Section Important Topics and Difficulty-level
MAH CET Cutoff 2023 for Top MBA Colleges in Mumbai
MAH CET cutoff 2023 for top MBA colleges in Mumbai like JBIMS, SIMSREE, and XIMR is expected to be 99.99, 99.80, and 99.52 percentile, respectively. Mumbai has some of the top MBA colleges in India which accept MAH MBA CET scores. Looking at the MAH MBA CET 2023 exam analysis, a score of 150+ out of 2022 will be able to fetch a 99.99 percentile to candidates.
Last year, the highest MAH MBA CET cutoff 2022 was 99.98 percentile for JBIMS, followed by SIMSREE whose cutoff was 99.95 percentile.
