The Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University cut off is the minimum score an applicant must get to be admitted to the university's most popular programmes. Based on the results of the CUET Counselling 2023, the university publishes its own merit list. The counselling process starts whenever the university releases the HNBGU CUET merit list. Candidates who are interested in admission must make the HNBGU cutoff list; those who are selected will then participate in counselling.
After the counselling process is over, NTA will announce the seat matrix and allot the seats. The number of seats available in each programme and specialism is listed in the seat matrix. The official website or the counselling portal will publish the seat matrix and the CUET Counselling 2023 seat allocation date, accordingly. The HNBGU CUET UG cut off for 2023 will be made available soon. For admission to the various UG and PG programmes, the CUET score is considered.
Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University offers several courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Some of the most popular programmes include B.A, B.Sc, B.Tech, M.Sc, MBA, etc. Admission to these programmes is based on the candidate’s previous academic merit and the scores obtained by them in the entrance exams. For the B.Tech course at HNBGU Gharwal, JEE Main rank is considered, for MBA CAT or MAT rank is valid and for other programmes like B.A, B.Sc, M.Sc, etc. the CUET scores are taken into consideration. After appearing in the exam, candidates have to qualify for the HNBGU cutoff list followed by a counselling session, only for the shortlisted candidates.
The CUET exam is separate for UG and PG courses and also has separate portals. For UG courses candidates have to apply through CUET UG portal (cuet.samarth.ac.in). For PG programmes candidates can apply through the CUET PG portal (cuet.nta.nic.in). The merit lists are curated by taking in the candidate's CUET 2023 exam scores, and will ultimately be used for the admission process, conducted by each university individually.
It is suggested that candidates also go through the previous year’s HNBGU JEE Main cutoff to check what exactly affects the changes in the cut off trends every year. Usually, the difficulty level of the exam, number of participants, and seat availability cause the changes. Keeping a check on the previous cut off ranks might also help determine the chances for admission to the institute. Here are the HNBGU JEE Main 2021 cutoff ranks for rounds one and six, given below.
