The training & placement department conducts activities such as Basic Employability Skills Training, Career Counseling, Online Mock Tests, Pre-Placement Training and Virtual Recruitment. Placements at Desh Bhagat University are organised by the active and dedicated placement cell. The cell has a distinct process through which the students are selected for various job roles by the companies invited to the campus during the DBU placements. The placement process includes a written test, a group discussion and an individual interview. The written exams are used to evaluate the candidates' logical thinking and technical aptitude. Candidates passing the written exam move on to the group discussion, where they are divided into groups of 6-12 people and given a subject to discuss for 10-15 minutes. They are judged on knowledge, speaking ability, language, leadership, teamwork, and listening skills, and on the basis of that move on to the personal interview session, which will determine their selection for the company/ job role.
