GITA admissions are offered to various undergraduate and postgraduate programs in engineering and management. The admission process begins in January and involves qualifying entrance exams such as JEE Main for B.Tech, OJEE or GATE for M.Tech, and CAT, MAT, XAT for MBA. Students must meet the eligibility criteria, which includes a minimum aggregate score in the qualifying exam and a valid entrance exam score. The Gandhi Institute for Technological Advancement application process is online, and candidates are selected based on their performance in these exams. GITA provides a range of courses with fees varying from Rs 86,000 to Rs 428,000 per year, depending on the programme.
Passed 10+2 examination of CHSE, Odisha or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the subjects from Chemistry / Biology / Biotechnology / Technical Vocational Subject / Electronics / Computer science / Information Technology / Geology / Statistics. The candidate should have passed individual subject and must have obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) in the above subjects taken together.
Candidates must have passed the Bachelor’s Degree examination of minimum three years duration from any University of Odisha or from a recognized University as defined by UGC/AICTE. OR A Candidate must have Passed the Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture/ Pharmacy examination of minimum four/five years duration in any discipline from any University of Odisha or from a recognized University as defined by UGC/ AICTE. Candidates must have passed the Bachelor’s Degree examination of minimum three years duration in any discipline from any University of Odisha or from a recognized University as defined by UGC and must have passed in Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduate Level. Business Mathematics at +2 level is not permitted for admission. The candidate should have obtained at least 50% (45% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category) in the qualifying examination. There is no age limit for admission to MCA course.
A Candidate must have passed Bachelor’s Degree of examination (B. Tech)/ MSc in the relevant field from any University of Odisha or from an AICTE approved Institute or from a recognized University as defined by UGC. The candidate should have obtained at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category) at the qualifying examination.
