SCHOLARSHIPS /AWARDS

1. Tuition and other fees as per norms of Pb. Govt. for eligible SC / STstudents of Punjab by Govt. of Punjab. 2. Merit Cum Means Minority Scholarships are given to deserving students. i.

Bibi Shivdev Kaur Grewal S/ship : Two awards of Rs. 1200/- per year each to poor & needy students.

Mrs. & Mr. Harkishan Singh : Awards of Rs. 1200/- per year each to poor and needy students. 

S. S. Kahlon Memorial Fund : Two awards Rs. 1200/- per year each to poor & needy students

GENCO Scholarships : Five awards of Rs. 4800/- per year, each to poor & needy students

S. Avtar S. Grewal Memorial S/ship : Ten Awards of Rs. 500/- per year for topper of pre final & final year classes.

S. Raghbir Singh Thind Memorial S/ship : Two awards of Rs. 10,000/- per year. Minimum 65% marks, Annual income of parents not exceeding Rs. 200,000/-

Scholarship in the memory of Dr. I.S. Rai

i. Rs. 10000/- scholarship to be awarded to outstanding Poor Student of Civil Engg.

ii. Rs. 10000/- scholarship to be awarded to outstanding Poor student of any branch of Engg.

iii. Rs. 5000/- to be awarded to good sportsman

BHULLAR AU-85'

i. Scholarship to the Star of the stage Rs. 5000/-

ii. Rs. 5000/- AU-85' to the Academician of the year to student of D-2/D-3/D-4/ on the basis st nd rd th of 1 and 2 semesters for D-2, 3 and 4 th th semester for D-3 and 5 and 6 semester for D-4 students

Amarjit Singh Pabla Award :

1. The Research Award will be in the name of Er. Amarjit Singh Pabla Research Award.

2. The award may be given to B.Tech. students for major projects, M.Tech. & Ph.D. for their research work.

3. The maximum Research Award amount will be to the tune of Rs. 5,000/- for UG, Rs. 7,000/- for M.Tech. & Rs. 10,000/- for Ph.D. annually, which will be subject to availability of funds (only of interest accrued).

Mangat Family Scholarship :

Scholarship worth Rs. 20,000/- annually will be offered towards tuition fee to Girl student from rural area belonging to a low income family.

Scholarship :

Worth Rs. 500/- approx. shall be awarded to the Meritorious students out of the interest accrued out of the FDR worth $235 donated by Prof. Sadhu Singh Sidhu (Retd.)
